This past Monday we Verti-drained all our greens.  This combined with last weeks Dryject was done instead of the drill and fill procedure that we have done in the past.  We can do both and still provide descent ball roll.  Unfortunately it has been so cold this week that only the Eskimos have played.

The back of the first tee has been sodded.  We enlarged some of the rough to provide more area for traffic.   We will watch this area next year and if needed we will place a bench to break up the wear patterns.

We are currently working in our compost area.  AKA "dump".   When we installed the irrigation system we gained a lot of rocks and because of all the storms we have a lot of logs and branches.   A contractor has been hired to grind up all the debris and make mulch.  Rocks will be piled in one area to be used for future projects.  Leaves, clippings, and soil will be made into top-soil.

Our compost area has become crowded with all the work and storms we have received over the past few years.

Holes are small enough to not disrupt ball roll

Holes are 8 to 10 inches deep.

Smoke from last weeks brush fires.  It has been very dry.
