Golf Course Update:

I want to start by saying a big thank you to the Greens and Grounds staff for making this another great year.   Last Friday was there last day.   I wish them a good safe, winter season and hope that next spring they all return.  I am fortunate to have such a fine group of men to work with.

We still are busy.  Ted, Peter, Owel, Tony and Greg will be here for the next few months getting projects finished and putting the course to rest.   The work in our compost area is moving along nicely, the trees between six and seven have been removed and one tree is missing on the left side of 14?  Projects coming up in the near future include installing the new irrigation pumps and enlarging championship tees on holes 2, 11, and 15.  Not to mention sharpening all the mowers, applying our winter turf protectants, top-dressing, leaf clean up. etc. etc. etc.

In closing I want to wish everyone a happy thanksgiving and Happy Hanukkah.

The arrival of the tub-grinder.  This large machine grinds up the logs into mulch.

Wood, Rocks, and soil are now all separated.

We have done a good job of making top-soil.

stumps have been ground and logs were taken to our compost area and made into mulch.

Three large Norway maples were removed between 6 and 7.
